Plate player prototype

Here's a rough prototype of this music player/boombox thing that I've been dreaming up. I'm looking to buy a different music player setup at my house to replace my Google Home. I didn't want to use an old format (CD, vinyl, etc.) and I didn't want anything with bluetooth that I (or other people) would have to configure to use. Essentially, I wanted it to answer the question, "What would consumer music look like in the present if the internet wasn't invented?" It's kind of a stretch, but it's an easy project and if I can get it working the way I want, it'll almost feel like a fantasy format. It uses 4-inch acrylic/glass plates/tiles/coasters with an NFC chip to tell the player which album to play all the way through. Album art is sandwiched in the plate and visible on the player during playback. Just a few things to update in the code and I'll be done. Easy peasy!
