2023-02-09 Demonstration of RCD Dashboard and RCD Notes for GNU Emacs

The GNU Emacs package rcd-dashboard.el has been derived from ideas used to make RCD Org Export. GNU Emacs package: rcd-org-export.el -- use Org to export Org: https://gnu.support/gnu-emacs/packages/GNU-Emacs-package-rcd-org-export-el-use-Org-to-export-Org-76272.html RCD Org Export is non-blocking, user friendly, mouse enabled interface to export Org files. RCD Dashboard is generic dashboard interface that uses read-only Org buffers to create menus and menu entries. GNU Emacs package: rcd-dashboard.el -- Tool to build Emacs dashboards: https://gnu.support/gnu-emacs/packages/GNU-Emacs-package-rcd-dashboard-el-Tool-to-build-Emacs-dashboards-76668.html This video demonstrates how on single click one can get dashboard with some metrics from RCD Notes & Hyperscope, The Dynamic Knowledge Repository for GNU Emacs. One can have the dashboard to appear in full window or side window. Decision is made by single mouse click. Speech notifications can be toggled. One can invoke Hyperscope in single or double window similarly to Midnight Commander or Emacs Dired, for purposes of moving items between sets or from window to window. One sees on winodw how people may be selected by using people list, such as "Emacs Users". One may edit entry of each user, such as prefixes like "Mr." or suffixes like "PhD", how did we find the user? Maybe from "Mailing list". RCD Notes & Hyperscope for GNU Emacs has full CRM or Customer Relationship Management features. One may see on video how user can interactively modify database tables, as one can see how user added UUID columns to come tables. Any kind of new columns may be added interactively. One can see how one can jump from one table to referenced table, inspect other table's elements, maybe add or rename elements, and go back to the primary entry that was edited. The tag that was entered for Eduardo such as "eev" does not mean that user is tagged by that tag, but that tag "eev" would be applied to other entries of the user in future. For example, if I would create a document or note, that note if related to user "Eduardo" would automatically receive the tag "eev". For each other one may get list of communication lines. By using key command one can list all e-mails related to that user. This is because e-mails are stored by e-mail address. This handy principle allows quick access of conversation related to specific user, without using indexing software. Any communication line may be shown, and list of communication entries can be displayed. There exists import function to get all the SMS, XMPP, calls, from and to the person by using mobile phone applications. One can also see how user can click on a tag on Hyperdocument, such as "eev" to see all other Hyperdocuments with the same tag. This is just one part of the RCD Notes Dashboard, there is much more that has not been shown on this video.
