Vlog March 9–13, 2021: Snow, Collabora, & The First Tree https://diode.zone/videos/watch/3056d8a9-b081-4d94-bc22-49fc00de793e UPDATE: Follow-up on the snow It's been pretty uneventful week, except that I got Collabora Online installed on my home server and integrated with my Nextcloud installation! I even got the Docker container set up so I can add fonts without any trouble! I also played The First Tree, which was ok—more pretty than particularly fun and with a sad story. It took about 2 hours to get through, and a lot of that was padded with huge environments to explore/run through. However, avoiding Google products when such avoidance is feasible does still make a fairly powerful statement.

Unfortunately my best email address is tied to Google Suite by a family member and I can't do much about it, so I'll always be half a step away from being fully de-googled. But I at least have other addresses I use, so that's good at least.
