https://diode.zone/videos/watch/457feae5-f284-443d-a20c-a72640af17be I started to play the time trials in BeamNG.drive and took to Road Course 1 on Utah. I saw I was getting really very close to a sub 2 minute hot lap and made that my goal. After a bunch of attempts I got a good run and barely squeaked in. A hot lap is when you start a lap at speed, usually by doing a lap prior. The course is driven with the Ibishu Covet configured for Gravel Rally. I turn the gearbox to realistic (press Q once on default controls). I recorded all the prior runs and crashes and plan to cut them together into a kind of "pursuit of" video. I've convinced myself I should to it all in ffmpeg so It might be a bit ^^; The song- which is a bit dramatic for this video- is Punch Deck's By Force. I was listening to copyrighted music while driving, which I obviously couldn't leave in, and needed something to fill the silence.
