Here I wired up this rowdy little boy to an AE Modular synthesizer. Two of the 4060's outputs are connected straight to the mixer, and then other outputs are connected to CV inputs all across the synthesizer, triggering sequencers and envelopes, modulating filters and oscillator frequencies, and generally causing havoc I don't actually have the faintest idea what's going on inside the 4060, but that's all the charm. I do know that connecting transistors tends to add syncopation, LEDs add gating and alternating sequences, and capacitors change the timbre of the output, or introduce slopes and envelopes I apologise for the poor video quality, unfortunately I only have this low-quality webcam.
