Tidalcycles is an amazing sequencer!! Here it is sequencing Sunvox, sending notes to trigger sounds, as well as MIDI CC's to modulate parameters, Carla, which is running a number of different plugins, and Tidal is sending MIDI CC's to modulate stuff, and Tidal is also playing back samples I'm experimenting with Sunvox's pitch shifter module, using it to create weird metallic cinematic-type sounds. The drones/pads you hear are coming from Sunvox, routed through a compressor. All the other sounds are coming from Tidalcycles, which is playing back a combination of drum machine samples and samples I made (with VCV Rack, Bitwig, my DIY modular, and lots of databending) Everything is routed in Jack (on Linux), sent out to a hardware mixer, makes its way back into the computer, and ends up in this video
