Minecraft Railway with Tickets!

Shoofle's Channel — Thu, 30 Mar 2023 03:51:43 GMT

I'm very pleased with this design. it will eventually be part of a packet-switched railway where carts can be dispatched autonomously to a distant destination, each carrying with it a ticket that tells the railway system where it should be directed. This is a test of a single switch; it detects if a piece of paper is in the minecart chest, and if so, switches it to the side track and returns the ticket to the cart. When I throw the paper onto the hopper, it's dispensed into the minecart, so as to demonstrate the switching.

Pear House Yard Timelapse

extremely warning for shaky and flashing video, do not watch this if you have any issue with that!!

in spite of my complaints about the quality of this project, it is extremely cool and big and sexy of me to have made this. behold: the past year of my backyard, featuring pear tree!

the obvious standout feature is the pear tree - check how much it droops when it's laden with fruit! really shows that it's a big harvest year (it alternates). but also watch how the sunflowers grow! I love watching them.

museum cycle loop

I'm trying to flex my creative muscles a little bit more and follow through on my tiny projects. For this little loop I used some little videos i made in blender ages ago, my guitar, audacity, and blender's video editor! I'm very proud of putting together basically all the parts of this myself, and using open software to do it, to boot! feels good. feels organic.

thanks to the history and people that have led to this moment where i publish this video
