This video shows how to do that.

This should not be required in most cases but when all other options fail, you can try this to be sure the issue is not because of bad data state. Version upgrades and database migrations can cause issues sometimes which might make the app not behave as expected. Clearing data might fix it.

How to do:

  • Long press on the app icon on the launcher and go to "App Info"
  • Click on "Storage & Cache"
  • Click on "Clear storage" and press "OK"

Just a warning that this removes all the data saved by the app including settings and permissions.
