Dr Hitchcock || Starlifter.FM https://diode.zone/c/dr_hitchcock/videos 👩‍🎤 I play with music and websites 👩‍🎤 Kia ora and hi, I'm Benet aka Dr Hitchcock. I DJ, make music using synthesisers as well as other hardware and play all this on Starlifter.FM. Starlifter.FM is a psychedelic rock and electronic Internet radio show that streams on 8K.NZ 🎱 and via podcast and other streaming platforms. When I'm not mixing up a cosmic jammm online I design and develop websites. This cybernetic symphony is the latest masterpiece from the future's favourite humanoid Panda Dr Hitchcock. Trapped within a hexagonal prison, reminiscent of the iconic TARDIS from Doctor Who, a cat with a cybernetic implant is in hot pursuit, determined to free Dr Hitchcock from his high-tech confinement. True to synthwave's roots, "Disco Brutus (F.L.O.)" pays homage to the retro-futuristic sounds of the 80s, blending old school style synthesizers with 808 beats sampled from an original TR-808.

An extended version of this track can be streamed or downloaded from:

For fans of:

  • Harold Faltermeyer - Axel F (Beverly Hills Cop theme)
  • Todd Tejre
  • Roland TB-303 and TR-808
