normally rust statically compiles all libraries (such as bees_dll) into the final executable (app/target/debug/app). this video demonstrates compiling the executable with dynamic linking, allowing libbees_dll.so to be swapped out without recompiling the app that links to it.

i specifically looked for a 2U server instead of a 1U so that it could have bigger fans running slower because the cisco catalyst 3750e that i have running in my closet is so fucking annoying. this was the correct decision. 2U fans are WAY better than 1U,, but by default they run really fast and u cant turn them down from within idrac??????? u have 2 set it manually with ipmi and luckily theres a python script to do that 4 u. theres also a ruby script out there but installing ruby on centos seemed like a pain.

python script: https://github.com/nmaggioni/r710-fan-controller
