No real melody, the sequencer and the NTS-arpeggiator did their thing, i turned the knobs of the analog filter and used the active-step-feature of the SQ-1 and the step-jump of the Volca and the SQ-1. I ran the sound of the Volca Drum through the NTS-1 as an effect filter.

The drum and synth pads came from the MPC One, the sequencers from the Behringer Crave (controlled by Ableton Live) and the Arturia Microfreak (on which the sequence was also stored).

Again on the stage are my Korg NTS-1 with his f*cking tiny touch-keyboard-strip and the Korg miniKaoss Pad 2. The arpeggiator of the NTS-1 is doing the 'melody" with a chip-tune and giving some reverb effect. So does the miniKaoss. And the Volca Drum gives the beat, with variations by the StepJump-function.

Quirky jam with to few fingers for to many knobs and buttons, but it was fun to me. 😄

The arpeggiator of the NTS-1 didn't want to start, I made a mistake on the keyboard and the mixing volumes weren't quite right either.

Maybe this would be a case for the digital bin. But anyway - it's the first jam with my new (used) Behringer Crave. I don't know it very well yet, there are more question marks than exclamation marks. But the orange-black thing is already fun!

A really very improvised jam with my Volca Drum, NTS-1, Microfreak and Keystep37 and some "happy little accidents". But, Hey - it's Jamuary. 😄
Created a sequence on the Microfreak which runs all along the jam-session, in the middle I'm playing with the sound on the egde of the cutoff- and resonance-filter. The arp of the Keystep is triggering the Odds-oscillator on the NTS-1 for some generative pattern. The Volca Drum i the most loveless instrument in this session - I promise that this will change in the future. 😄

And the Volca Drum merrily plays the rhythm in the background, with a pitch-automation on one part.

I like this little jam-session, I hope you like it too. 😃
