I had a long break with this, but I finally wrote a little bit more. Now there's a group of stars and planets and such, even space stations. On the UI side, there's beginning of the star map, where player can explore the galaxy and decide where to fly next.

I have been tinkering with a simple game from the scratch. The main menu is looking pretty nice I think, but there's bug with animations of the confirmation dialog.

Space Garden #4 - More animations and growing some plants

Final part of the Space Garden shows some new animations and how the player can grow their own garden on the barren space asteroid. There will be longer break before I'll upload next video as I first have to come up with idea for a project that I could do.

Making our hero walk around, climbing ramps and ladders. I briefly talk about Aseprite and Tiled, which are both really excellent tools for creating levels for a little game like this.

Me showing some code dealing with tile engine and especially with animated tiles. I'm using Haskell to load levels done with Tiled (https://www.mapeditor.org/) and textures done with Aseprite (https://www.aseprite.org/). This hopefully grows to simple demo or toy program about a person making their own space garden.
